Crazy proto-cyberpunk movie with tons of running and vomit. The atmosphere is off the charts in this film with plenty of practical effects, guerrilla shots, and kick-ass music.

An absolute classic feminist psychosexual sci-fi horror masterpiece. The Xenomorph is wonderful and so is Ripley's character.
The Thing (1982)
Regarded as one of the best horror films and deservedly so. It's paranoia-inducing on first watch and you can feel the cold from the screen. The practical effects are outstanding and have lasted the test of time.
